TECHNOLOGY

Technology is ever changing. Beth Pabst is the only candidate with experience in auditing, helping with software selection, and implementing new technology. For eight years in the Register of Deeds Office, she acted as a resource for software/vendor information and assists the computer services department during upgrades and enhancements of the computerized real estate land indexing system and served as lead educator to staff and searchers.

BUDGETING

Budgets are expected to be cut 5-10% for 2009, with even more cuts expected in future years. The County Board is even hinting at staffing cuts. Our county needs Beth’s strong budgeting and accounting skills to make these crucial decisions for the residents & business of St. Croix County. Beth has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting with a Business Emphasis and she also has a Certified Public Accounting License.

COMMUNICATION

The residents and professionals of St. Croix County are often heard requesting better communication between County Departments. Beth Pabst has diversified work experience in the county. She worked for 14 years in the Register of Deeds Office and for 2 years as a Real Property Lister Assistant in the Planning & Zoning Department of St. Croix County. These experiences have given Beth the insight and understanding needed to help improve the lines of communication between departments.
